| The Society 2007 AGM was held on April 22nd . Once
again it was held at John Cook's wonderful establishment, there was
an excellent turnout and the room was crammed.
After lunch everyone had the opportunity to try out all the
various training areas - it had changed vastly since our last visit
, and I am sure we all came away with lots of different ideas how to
improve our training techniques. I wonder if there will be a demand
for remote control dummy launchers!
At the end of the day a small award was given to the handler with
the most promising dog. Here there was a slight disagreement - John
Cook choosing Janner and the other helpers choosing Kara. Since both
were trained and handled by Ian Crawford it didn't make any
difference who actually went home with the wine!
