For once our trip to the Mock Field Trial held near Dulverton was a
sunny affair - it has always been covered in mist and rain for my
previous visits. This was earlier in the year - giving many dogs their
first outing of the year.
Debbie led the day - giving everyone the advise needed to help them and their dogs. Although termed a mock trial - it really was an excellent opportunity for training on a small shoot with no real pressure on dogs and handlers. Packed lunch could be enjoyed outside in the sun and I am sure everyone enjoyed their day - both working their dogs and learning from others. Thanks must go to Debbie for organising and running the day, the guns for giving the dogs enough work and to Tom our host for making the day possible.
