Shooting Dog Day

17^th November 2005  Stogumber, Somerset

124 birds shot between eight excellent guns. There was a wonderful selection of nineteen Clumbers from all over the country either on the peg with their owners or picking up or beating. Stunning scenery surrounded us. It was a very relaxed and pleasurable days sport for all involved. Gill's farmhouse tea and homemade cakes, whilst sitting around the range, made just the perfect end to a fantastic day.

This is now becoming an annual event. The quality of the birds, the setting and to have such cheerful hosts / ‘keeper… Who could want more? Viv and Jill make the days enjoyable to everyone, from every angle.
