Field Trial Radstock November 2008

Wednesday 12th November 2008

All Aged Field Trial

at the Ammerdown & Owlnest Shoot, Nr Radstock, Bath.

Judges Mr. Ralph Edwards  and Mr. Elvin Thomas

Sponsors - CSJ Dog foods

3rd COEDCOLLEN MAGIC - Owner / Handler Andy Hales -  Also the Clive Miller Memorial trophy for the Best placed Novice. (A dog which has not been placed, 1st, 2nd or 3rd in a Minor Breed Trial or gained an award or COM at a Field Trial Open to any Variety Spaniel, Inc ESS and Cocker.)

The first trial of the year was held at Kilmersdon , November 12th 2008 - we were lucky with the weather, a dry sunny day. We had 14 entries, all present, 11 clumbers and 3 Welsh Springers just the one placing awarded at the end of a long day.

It was good to see some new faces at the trial and even better to see the award given to one of these.
