Country Fair

Repeat of last year's popular training day.  Trainers include Roy Ellershaw, Andy Hales, Dave Kent, and David Wood.  Free to members but suggested donation of £10.  Will include water training, hunting, retrieving and young dogs initial training.

Shoot day with beating and picking up.

100 bird partridge day on the Worcestershire/Gloucestershire border in a stunning location, £320 per gun. The shoot have kindly offered that WCSS members can work their dogs in the beating line or as part of the picking up team if you don't want to shoot. First Field Trial will be held at Byrd's Nest. Harvington (Springer championship ground).  Further details will be posted once confirmed and schedule and entry form will be available for download soon.  Judges Bob Aldenton and TBC.  £30 per dog.

Field Trial

Second Field Trial at Hargham Hall, Norfolk will be held on 18th November £30 a dog.  There is a possibility to make this a weekend event with training on the 17th and further training after the trial in the afternoon if conditions permit.  Final details and schedule and entry form will be posted once confirmed.

Working Assessments

Depending on the response from members the Society is planning to organise Working Assessments for our dogs.  These assessments will give you a grade for the working ability of your dog without the need to take part in competition.  It will also give you a guide to the areas you and your dog need to work on to improve your handling and your dog's working performance.

Dates and venues will depend on the responses from members.  Please register your interest with Debbie Zurick.
