The WCSS held a live game training day for minor breed spaniels curtesy of Steve Smith at Wrencourt Training on 28th September. The ground was perfect spaniel ground and game aplenty . The wind made the long retrieves tricky but Steve gave the dogs plenty of time to work things out for themselves , an invaluable experience for them , some outstanding contact flushes were made just the thing for people getting ready for trialing ,25+ birds were shot which gave all the dogs plenty of opportunity to test their retrieving .
