WCSS AGM

Updated: May 25, 2019

2019's AGM was held by the kind permission of Mr & Mrs Arkell at Sterts Farm, Hannington Wick. There was a fantastic turn out filling the room and spilling outside too! The sun also made an appearance allowing members to enjoy picnics and training in the afternoon.

The AGM ran smoothly with an unanimous decision to reappoint all Committee members for another year. It was, as always, very informative covering the extensive list of events, game fairs, working test, field trails and shooting days organised by the society and its members.

The health Committee gave a great overview of the fantastic work they are doing to help our breed, including the latest on EIC and elbow IOCH. We were also grateful to have present Steven Lawley from Petagenics who gave a very interesting talk after the formalities of the AGM had finished.

There were many experienced clumber handlers on hand to help those seeking advice and guidance in a variety of areas including breeding advice, competitve tips or just some friendly chat.

We were all absolutely thrilled to see Jane Smith-Bodden at tge AGM following ill health over the last few months, it was fantastic to see her on the road to recovery.

A very enjoyable day was had by everyone and we all look forward to another year of a packed events calendar promoting and enjoying our wonderful Working Clumber Spaniels.
